Brighton Community Sport: Ditchling Cricket Club

We’re delighted to sponsor Ditchling Cricket Club, a cornerstone of the local sporting scene believed to have played its first game in 1818. It embodies everything there is to love about cricket, both on and off the field of play.

As part of their annual cricket week, the club plays The Royal Navy every year. And, in 2006, they were the first foreign sporting side to play a game against Afghanistan in Kabul.

With an enviable junior section, our support helps nurture young talent and foster a love for cricket in the community.

Sussex community sport: Burgess Hill Rugby Club

We also carry out work free of charge to get Burgess Hill Rugby Club better connected. We’ve installed Starlink and provided Wi-Fi equipment to create a better experience for fans and the club. As well as this, we set up a captive portal which encourages users to connect with the club every time the access the Wi-Fi onsite.

Thank you AJT! Having struggled for a while with the internet and TV connection at Burgess Hill Rugby Club, AJT came in and proposed a new solution. Within a week we had full speed Wi-Fi, LAN and TV signals that our members can enjoy. The payment machines now reach the BBQ area and we can provide Wi-Fi to supporters on matchdays when the club is particularly busy. Brilliant solution and wonderful team to boot.

Brighton business community: Part of the AJ Taylor family

AJ Taylor Electrical Contractors Ltd is one of the biggest electrical contractors in the Brighton area. Beginning life as two electricians and an apprentice in 1983, the firm’s main office is in central Brighton. AJ Taylor now employs over 50 fully qualified engineers and apprentices.

Back in 2019, AJT Managed IT Services founder Russell Walker wanted to create his own IT MSP. Around the same time, AJ Taylor Electrical Contractors were considering alternative options for their own IT provider. Friends for years, Luke from the electrical business approached Russell for help.

Thanks to synergies across the two businesses – you can’t have IT without electricity – the decision was made for AJ Taylor Electrical to support Russ’ new IT services business, with them as his first client. And so AJT Managed IT Services was born.

Today, AJT Managed IT Services and AJ Taylor Electrical Contractors partner to provide their clients with data cabling, fibre optics and managed IT service solutions.
